AI visibility tools that publish to WordPress, Webflow and Sanity
Nine AI visibility tools that write into WordPress, Webflow or Sanity, compared on page updates, field-level edits and price.
Rick Schunselaar
Co-founder at Asky
The AI visibility tools that publish to your CMS track how ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews describe your brand, then write or update the pages behind those answers. We compared nine that do both, as of 29 October 2026: Asky, AirOps, AthenaHQ, Profound, Frase, Writesonic, Sight AI, Indexly and Semrush. Asky comes first because it refreshes the pages you already have, changing only the fields and blocks that need it in Webflow, WordPress or Sanity. Publishing is included from €399 a month.
The CMS matters because most of the web runs on one. WordPress runs 39.5% of the websites W3Techs surveys, a 58.3% share of the CMS market (W3Techs). Every fact about each tool below comes from its own website, checked on 29 October 2026.
| Tool | Best for | CMSs it publishes to, as listed | Updates existing pages | Entry price with publishing | Free trial |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Asky | Refreshing the pages you already have | Webflow, WordPress, Sanity | Yes: single fields, blocks or widgets; layouts kept; each change read back | €399/month (Scale) | 7 days |
| AirOps | Custom content workflows across many CMSs | 13, including WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Contentful, HubSpot | Yes, the fields you pass | Not published | 14 days |
| AthenaHQ | Headless teams that want edits checked live | 8, including WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Contentful, Shopify | Yes; direct page edits on CMSs such as Sanity and Contentful | $295/month (Starter) | Free tier |
| Profound | Enterprise stacks on Contentful, Drupal or AEM | WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Contentful, Drupal, Framer, Adobe Experience Manager and more | Yes; Contentful updates only the fields you set | Custom (Enterprise) | 7 days |
| Frase | The lowest published price | WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Wix, FraseCMS | Articles created in Frase | $49/month, or $39 billed yearly | 7 days, no card |
| Writesonic | WordPress teams that want articles posted | WordPress in its docs; its integrations page also names Sanity, Contentful, Webflow, Ghost | Yes, as "Overwrite the Post" on WordPress | $99/month, or $79 billed yearly | Yes, no card |
| Sight AI | Publishing new articles on a schedule | WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Shopify, Wix, HubSpot | Articles Sight AI wrote | $99/month, or $79 billed yearly | 7 days, card required |

| Semrush | Teams already on Semrush | WordPress | Not described | $99 AI toolkit plus $60 Content Toolkit, billed yearly | None on the AI toolkit |
What criteria should a CMS publishing tool meet?
It should turn what AI answers say into changes on your site, without breaking the pages it touches. We applied four tests to every tool on this list.
- It tracks AI answers. The tool records how AI engines mention and cite your brand, so it knows which pages to write or fix.
- It publishes into the CMS. It writes straight into your CMS through an API, plugin or connector, not through copy and paste.
- It updates what exists. AI engines can only cite pages that exist, so your current pages carry your citations today. A tool that only adds new posts leaves them untouched.
- It respects your page structure. A refresh should change the passages that need it and leave layouts, media and custom blocks alone.
Price and setup come after these tests. We list the cheapest plan that includes publishing, because the entry plan of several tools tracks answers but cannot publish.
1. Asky: best for refreshing the pages you already have
Overview
Asky is an AI-native SEO and GEO platform from Stockholm that closes the loop from insight to execution. It tracks how AI engines mention and cite your brand, ranks the next actions in one list and publishes the content work to Webflow, WordPress or Sanity. Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and AI crawler logs feed the same decisions.
Strengths
- Asky ranks the pages worth refreshing with citation and search data, then proposes edits to the passages that need them.
- On publish, Asky changes only the fields and blocks that need it, and reports edits made in your CMS instead of overwriting them.
- Layouts, media and custom blocks stay as they are, and you see each change with its reason before anything is republished.
- New drafts start from the pages AI already cites and publish into the matching fields of your CMS.
- Asky translates pages into 27 languages and publishes each language on its own or with the rest of the family.
Weaknesses
- Asky goes deep on three CMSs rather than wide. On Webflow, WordPress and Sanity it changes a single field, block or Elementor widget, keeps layouts and media, and reads each change back. Teams on Shopify or HubSpot copy the finished content across.
- It is built for teams that want SEO and GEO work done, so it is more than you need if you only want a monitor.
Best for
Marketing teams on Webflow, WordPress or Sanity that want AI visibility data to pick the existing pages to refresh, and want those refreshes published without breaking the page.
2. AirOps: best for custom content workflows across many CMSs
Overview
AirOps pairs an Insights product that tracks AI answers with workflows that write and publish content. Its documentation lists native publishing steps for 13 CMSs, from WordPress and Webflow to Contentful, Storyblok and Builder.io.
Strengths
- Native publishing steps for 13 CMSs through each CMS's API rather than a plugin, with update steps on most of them, including WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Contentful and HubSpot.
- Updates can be narrow: on WordPress it changes only the attributes you fill in, and on Webflow only the fields you pass.
- Playbooks can start a refresh when mention rate, share of voice or citation rate changes, once that trigger is enabled.
Weaknesses
- No list prices on its pricing page as of 29 October 2026.
- The Solo plan tracks ChatGPT only, and its pricing table shows only Webflow in the CMS row.
Best for
Content operations teams that want to build their own workflows and publish across several CMSs.
3. AthenaHQ: best for headless teams that want edits checked live
Overview
AthenaHQ, based in San Francisco, calls itself an AEO and GEO platform. Its Content Hub publishes new and updated content to eight CMSs, and its Site Health feature drafts edits to existing pages.
Strengths
- Publishes and schedules updates to Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer, WordPress, Payload CMS, Sanity and Contentful.
- After an edit is delivered, a live check compares the page title, meta description, main content and structured data field by field.
- The Starter plan includes 3,600 credits a month, where one credit is one AI response.
Weaknesses
- Site Health page edits go straight into an existing item only on CMSs that support direct delivery, such as Sanity and Contentful; others need an export.
- Starter covers a single country; more countries are on Enterprise.
Best for
Teams on Sanity or Contentful that want each page edit confirmed on the live site.
4. Profound: best for enterprise stacks on Contentful, Drupal or AEM
Overview
Profound, based in New York, calls itself the AI marketing platform to win in ChatGPT, Perplexity and other AI search platforms. Its Workflows create content and send it to about ten CMSs, including enterprise systems such as Drupal and Adobe Experience Manager.
Strengths
- Workflow steps publish or save drafts in WordPress, Webflow, Sanity and Contentful, and create content in Drupal, Framer and Adobe Experience Manager.
- Workflows update existing posts and documents, and on Contentful they change only the fields you set.
- Content nodes write briefs, titles and articles inside the same workflow.
Weaknesses
- Brands get a free 7-day trial or a custom Enterprise contract; no self-serve paid plan is listed.
- On Adobe Experience Manager, created or updated fragments are reviewed and published in AEM itself.
Best for
Enterprise teams on Contentful, Drupal or Adobe Experience Manager that buy on a custom contract.
5. Frase: best for the lowest published price
Overview
Frase describes itself as the content operating system for AI search. Every plan publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity or Wix, or hosts pages on its own FraseCMS.
Strengths
- Publishing from $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, with a 7-day trial and no card.
- Webflow publishing maps each Frase field to a field in your collection.
- Content Guard writes a fix when a page loses Google rank or traffic and republishes it once you approve.
Weaknesses
- Content Guard reacts to Google rank and traffic, not to AI visibility, which only monitors and alerts.
- Only articles created in Frase can be republished or guarded.
Best for
Small teams that want publishing and AI visibility on one low monthly bill.
6. Writesonic: best for WordPress teams that want articles posted
Overview
Writesonic calls itself the AI Search Growth Engine. Its documentation covers publishing to WordPress through the Writesonic plugin, and its integrations page also names Sanity, Contentful, Webflow and Ghost.
Strengths
- Creates a new WordPress post or updates an existing one, with title, meta description, slug, status and publish date.
- Connects up to 10 WordPress sites, with scheduling through the publish date.
- The Starter plan includes the WordPress integration, from $99 a month.
Weaknesses
- Its WordPress documentation describes an update as "Overwrite the Post" rather than a change to single fields.
- Content Optimization, which fixes pages AI does not cite, is on the Enterprise plan.
Best for
WordPress teams that want new articles written and posted from one editor.
7. Sight AI: best for publishing new articles on a schedule
Overview
Sight AI describes itself as the AI search and SEO data layer for AI agents. It publishes natively to six CMSs and reaches Sanity and other headless CMSs through a signed webhook.
Strengths
- Native publishing to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Shopify, Wix and HubSpot, included from $99 a month.
- A planner schedules articles, and Autopilot publishes daily.
- Webflow publishing maps article fields to collection fields, and WordPress can sync the SEO title and meta description.
Weaknesses
- Sanity needs a receiver your team builds to accept the webhook.
- Article refresh starts on Pro, applies to articles Sight AI wrote and is driven by Search Console rankings.
Best for
Teams that want a steady stream of new articles published to a common CMS.
8. Indexly: best for rewrites when AI citation share drops
Overview
Indexly calls itself an AI Search Visibility Platform. Its Content Agents publish new articles, and Content Optimization rewrites existing pages and republishes them on the same URL.
Strengths
- Alerts when a page drops below your threshold or its AI citation share dips on any engine.
- Republishes rewritten pages to WordPress, Webflow and Ghost on the same URL.
- New articles go to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Framer, Ghost, Notion, webhooks and its own publishing API.
Weaknesses
- Tracking and publishing are separate $99 plans, or together in the $299 Growth bundle; the $99 Starter bundle has no CMS integrations.
- Its pages do not describe field-level or block-level edits.
Best for
Teams that want existing pages rewritten automatically when AI engines stop citing them.
9. Semrush: best for teams already on Semrush
Overview
Semrush helps you build and measure brand visibility, everywhere search happens, in its own words. AI tracking and publishing sit in two subscriptions: the AI Visibility Toolkit and the Content Toolkit.
Strengths
- The AI Visibility Toolkit shows the pages AI cites and suggests actions to earn mentions from each one.
- The Content Toolkit publishes to WordPress through its plugin, live or as a draft for review.
- It sits next to the Semrush SEO tools many teams already use.
Weaknesses
- Its knowledge base does not describe updating an existing WordPress post from the Content Toolkit.
- Tracking and publishing are two subscriptions, and the AI toolkit has no free trial.
Best for
Semrush customers who publish new WordPress articles and want AI visibility in the same account.
Which tool fits WordPress, Webflow or Sanity?
Every tool here publishes to WordPress, so the deciding question on WordPress is whether you need new posts or updates to existing ones. Asky, AirOps, AthenaHQ, Profound, Indexly and Writesonic update existing posts, while Frase and Sight AI update only the articles they created.
On Webflow, look for field mapping into your collections. Of the seven whose own pages cover Webflow publishing, all but Indexly and Profound describe it.
On Sanity, Asky, AirOps, AthenaHQ, Profound and Frase publish directly, while Sight AI needs a receiver you build. On Contentful, AirOps, AthenaHQ and Profound cover it.
Webflow runs 0.8% of the websites W3Techs surveys (W3Techs Webflow report). Whatever you pick, check its field mapping with your real collections during the trial.
How did we compare these tools?
We included tools whose own pages describe both tracking AI answers and publishing to a CMS. We read each vendor's pricing page, product pages and documentation on 29 October 2026, and quoted prices as listed in US dollars or euros before tax.
Where a vendor's marketing pages name more CMSs than its documentation describes, we say so. We left out Skayle, which is invite-only with no public price, and Search Atlas, whose pages describe its tracking cadence inconsistently.
- Shortlist only tools that both track AI answers and write into your CMS; copy and paste does not scale.
- Ask whether a tool updates existing pages, because your current pages carry your citations today.
- Test a refresh on a page with custom blocks and confirm the layout survives.
- Compare the cheapest plan that includes publishing, not the entry price for tracking.
- On Webflow and Sanity, check field mapping against your real collections during the trial.
Frequently asked questions
Which AI visibility tool can publish and refresh WordPress posts for under €500 a month?
Asky refreshes existing posts on self-hosted WordPress at field and block level on its €399 Scale plan, and also publishes to Webflow and Sanity. Writesonic ($99) updates posts by overwriting them, and AthenaHQ ($295) and Indexly (two $99 plans) update existing posts. Frase and Sight AI (from $49 and $99) update only articles they created.
Which AI visibility platform drafts and publishes to Sanity?
Asky drafts new pages from the pages AI already cites and refreshes existing Sanity documents by changing only the fields and blocks that need it, from €399 a month. AirOps, AthenaHQ, Profound and Frase also publish to Sanity directly as of 29 October 2026, and Sight AI reaches it through a webhook.
Can an AI visibility tool update existing pages without breaking the layout?
Yes, if it edits fields and blocks rather than replacing the whole page. Asky changes only the passages that need it and leaves layouts, media and custom blocks alone. Before you buy any tool, test an update on a page that uses custom blocks.
Which tools integrate AI visibility tracking directly with a CMS?
Asky tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews and publishes the resulting new pages and refreshes into Webflow, WordPress and Sanity through their APIs. AirOps, AthenaHQ, Profound and the other tools here also track in their own app and write into the CMS through an API, plugin or webhook.
Is it safe to let an AI tool publish to my website?
It is safe when you control what goes live. Most tools here can publish as a draft first, and Asky shows each proposed change with its reason before anything is republished.
Which tool should you choose?
Choose by the work your pages need. If your citations depend on pages you already have on Webflow, WordPress or Sanity, Asky refreshes them without breaking the layout.
If you publish across many CMSs, AirOps covers the most of the nine here, and if price decides, Frase has the lowest published price. For a wider view of the market, see our best AI visibility tools and what AI visibility tools cost.
