AI visibility tools for reporting: GA4, Search Console, API and MCP
Eight AI visibility tools compared on seats, Search Console and GA4, AI referral traffic, scheduled reports, API and MCP.
Rick Schunselaar
Co-founder at Asky
The AI visibility tools that suit reporting connect to Search Console and GA4 and let the whole team in without seat fees. They also hand your data to other tools through an API or MCP server. We compared eight as of 29 October 2026: Asky, Peec AI, Otterly.AI, Semrush, SE Ranking, Ahrefs, Profound and Scrunch. Asky comes first because every plan includes unlimited seats, an MCP server and Search Console, GA4 and Bing data, on monthly billing from €99 a month.
Reporting on AI search is harder than it looks, because most of its effect never shows up as a click. Of the referrals Statcounter tracks from search engines, social media and AI chatbots, AI chatbots sent 0.4% in September 2026 (Statcounter). Every fact about each tool below comes from its own website, checked on 29 October 2026.
| Tool | Best for | Seats | MCP server and API | Search Console and GA4 | Scheduled reports | Entry price, monthly billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Asky | One team view of SEO and AI data, acted on | Unlimited on every plan | MCP on every plan; API included on Momentum, add-on on Core and Scale | Both, plus Bing, on every plan | Monthly on Scale, weekly on Momentum, shared by link | €99/month |
| Peec AI | GA4 AI referrals with unlimited users | Unlimited | MCP, plan not stated; API from Pro in its docs, with Enterprise on its pricing page | Search Console connection; GA4 AI Referrals | Not described in its docs | $95/month (€85 in the EU) |
| Otterly.AI | A low entry price with Looker Studio reports | Unlimited | Both from Standard ($189) | GA4 through a free Looker Studio template | Through Looker Studio, from Standard | $29/month |
| Semrush | Teams that already report from Semrush | 1 user; each extra needs a Semrush seat and a $99 license | MCP on Semrush One Starter and Pro+ and SEO Classic Pro and Guru; API add-on to Business | Both, through My Reports ($10 per report a month) | Emailed exports, daily to monthly | $99/month (AI Visibility Toolkit) |
| SE Ranking | Scheduled SEO reports with AI search data | SE Visible: unlimited users | Both on SE Ranking Core and Growth | Both, on SE Ranking plans | Report Builder schedules on SE Ranking plans | $89/month (SE Visible) |
| Ahrefs | Emailed PDF reports beside SEO data | 1 user; extra from $40/month | Both from Lite | Search Console; GA4 import | Emailed PDFs from Standard ($249) | $129/month (Lite) |

| Scrunch | AI referral conversions from GA4 or Adobe | 5 users; extra $25/month each | Not on Core | GA4 or Adobe Analytics for AI referrals | Board reporting on Enterprise | $250/month per brand |
What criteria matter for AI visibility reporting?
Four things decide whether AI visibility data reaches the people who act on it. We checked each tool against all four.
- Seats. Leadership, content and SEO should see the same numbers. Per-seat pricing pushes teams back to screenshots.
- Search data. A connection to Search Console and GA4 puts AI visibility next to rankings, clicks and sessions.
- Data access. An MCP server lets ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor query your data, and an API feeds your BI tools.
- Terms. Monthly billing lets you test a tool for a quarter before you commit for a year.
How do you measure traffic from ChatGPT and Perplexity?
Use GA4, and read it as a minimum. GA4's AI Assistant channel collects visits from sources such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. It excludes Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, which stay in Organic Search (Google Analytics Help).
Search Console now reports impressions for AI Overviews and AI Mode, by page, country and device (Google Search Central). Together, the two show how often Google's AI features surface your pages and how many visits other assistants send.
A visibility tool adds the part analytics cannot see: whether AI answers name you when nobody clicks. Asky shows AI referrals from GA4 per engine, with landing pages, engagement, country and device, on the same page as its AI crawler logs.
1. Asky: best for one team view of SEO and AI data, acted on
Overview
Asky is an AI-native SEO and GEO platform from Stockholm that closes the loop from insight to execution. Rankings, Search Console data, AI visibility, citations and crawler activity inform the same decisions, and the whole team works from one workspace.
Strengths
- Every Asky plan includes unlimited seats, so leadership, content and SEO see the same data.
- The Asky MCP server is included on every plan and brings your data into ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP-compatible tools.
- Asky connects Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and Bing Webmaster Tools on every plan.
- AI referrals from GA4 show visits per AI engine, landing page, country and device, beside the AI crawler logs for the same pages.
- Asky turns the data into one ranked queue of next actions across content, refreshes, technical fixes, third-party sources and community discussions.
Weaknesses
- It is built for teams that act on the data, so it is more than you need if you only want an export for a dashboard.
- Each prompt counts once per market against your quota, so prompt slots add up when you track many countries.
Best for
Teams that want SEO and AI search data in one place, open to everyone, and turned into ranked next actions.
2. Peec AI: best for GA4 AI referrals with unlimited users
Overview
Peec AI is a Berlin-based AI search analytics tool. Every brand plan includes unlimited users, and its AI Referrals feature connects one GA4 property per project.
Strengths
- Unlimited users on every brand plan, with no extra-seat price.
- AI Referrals combines GA4 data with Peec's own detection of AI sources.
- A Looker Studio connector and an MCP server that can read and manage prompts, topics and brands.
Weaknesses
- Its API docs place the API on Pro and up, while its pricing page lists API access with Enterprise.
- Starter, at $95 a month, has no API access according to its docs.
Best for
Teams that want daily AI visibility data and GA4 AI referrals open to everyone.
3. Otterly.AI: best for a low entry price with Looker Studio reports

Otterly.AI, based in Austria, is an AI search monitoring tool. Its Lite plan costs $29 a month for 15 prompts, and every plan includes unlimited team members.
Strengths
- Unlimited seats on every plan, from $29 a month.
- The API and MCP server come with Standard, at 2,000 requests a month each.
- A Looker Studio connector on Standard and up for scheduled dashboards.

- Scheduled reports run through its Looker Studio connector, which starts on Standard.
Best for
Small teams that report in Looker Studio and want a low monthly price.
4. Semrush: best for teams that already report from Semrush
Overview
Semrush, based in Boston, sells AI tracking as the AI Visibility Toolkit at $99 a month, beside its SEO toolkits. Reports for Search Console and GA4 run through My Reports.
Strengths
- Prompt Tracking emails scheduled exports daily, weekly or monthly.
- A My Reports widget tracks AI referral traffic and conversions from Google Analytics.
- The MCP server is included on Semrush One Starter and Pro+ with 50,000 API units.
Weaknesses
- Each plan includes one user; an extra user needs a Semrush user seat and a $99 toolkit license.
- The REST API is an add-on to the Business plan.
Best for
Semrush customers who want AI visibility inside the reports they already send.
5. SE Ranking: best for scheduled SEO reports with AI search data
Overview
SE Ranking sells AI tracking as SE Visible, a standalone product from $89 a month, and as an AI Search add-on to its SEO plans. The SEO plans add Search Console, GA4 and a report builder.
Strengths
- SE Visible includes unlimited users, according to its homepage.
- Report Builder delivers reports on automated schedules on the SEO plans.
- MCP access and API credits come with SE Ranking Core and Growth.
Weaknesses
- SE Visible lists its own reporting as coming soon, and its GA4-based AI Traffic Analytics page is labeled coming soon.
- SE Ranking Core includes one manager seat, with extra seats from $16.
Best for
SEO teams that send scheduled client reports and want AI search data in them.
6. Ahrefs: best for emailed PDF reports beside SEO data
Overview
Ahrefs, the SEO toolset, tracks AI answers with Brand Radar and custom prompts inside its plans. Its Report Builder and Web Analytics cover reporting.
Strengths
- From Standard at $249 a month, Report Builder emails scheduled PDF reports to up to 50 recipients, with an AI visibility template.
- Web Analytics shows AI chatbot referral traffic, free for verified sites up to 1 million events a month.
- The API and the MCP server are included from Lite.
Weaknesses
- One user is included; extra users cost $40 to $100 a month each.
- Ahrefs describes GA4 as an import into Web Analytics.
Best for
Ahrefs customers who want AI visibility in the PDF reports they email to clients or leadership.
7. Profound: best for enterprise teams that want revenue data
Overview
Profound, based in New York, offers brands a free 7-day trial and custom Enterprise contracts. Its Agent Analytics tracks AI-sourced traffic.
Strengths
- A GA4 extension brings sessions, transactions and revenue into Agent Analytics.
- A native Search Console integration shows impressions, clicks and average position.
- Unlimited seats on the trial and on Enterprise.
Weaknesses
- The API and MCP server are on Enterprise only.
- Scheduled reports come from an agent you set up rather than from dashboards.
Best for
Enterprise teams that buy on a custom contract and report AI traffic against revenue.

- Looker Studio access and board reporting on Enterprise.
Weaknesses
- Core includes five users, with extra users at $25 a month each.
- Its pricing page shows no API or MCP server on Core.
Best for
Teams on Adobe Analytics, or teams that want AI referral conversions per brand.
Which tool fits your reporting setup?
Start from the gap in your current reporting, then match it to the tools we compared.
- Access for everyone: Asky, Peec AI, Otterly.AI, Profound and SE Visible list unlimited seats.
- Your AI assistant queries the data: Asky includes its MCP server on every plan, Ahrefs from Lite, Otterly.AI from Standard and Profound on Enterprise.
- Reports on a schedule: Asky creates scheduled PDF reports to share by link, while Ahrefs and Semrush email theirs.
- AI referral revenue: Profound and Scrunch tie AI traffic to transactions or conversions.
Whatever you pick, read GA4's AI numbers as a floor, since clicks from AI Overviews count as organic search.
How did we compare these tools?
We read each vendor's pricing page, product pages and documentation on 29 October 2026, and quoted prices as listed, before tax. Where a vendor's pages disagree, we name both sources.
Peec AI's API docs and pricing page place its API on different plans, so we show both. Scrunch's pricing page and developer docs disagree on API access above Core, so we state only what applies to Core.
- Pick a tool with unlimited seats if leadership and content teams need the data.
- Connect Search Console and GA4 so AI visibility sits next to rankings and sessions.
- Read GA4's AI Assistant channel as a minimum, since AI Overviews clicks count as organic.
- Check whether the MCP server and API are on the plan you will buy, not only on Enterprise.
- Prefer monthly billing for the first quarter, then commit once the reports are in use.
